God :: Vesper
Appearance ::
Dawn has thick if not tidy brown fur, covered in many different shades of pale brown, deep red, simple beige and the odd bits of white. This fluff often makes her seem bigger then she is at a shoulder standing of only 22 inches, especially with her hackles raised, though she really is quite the petite wolf. Everything about this little wolf is short, from her short legs and short tail to her short beige tipped snout. Her nose, the bottom of her pads, and anything else showing is a livid black that almost doesn't seem in place among all the browns. The only scars she carries are brutal, all on the inside of her right hind leg where the flesh had been shredded to the point where little fur will grow, leaving behind just dark pink skin in its wake and green swirls that had imprinted themselves back onto her skin right over the scars.
As shown in the image, her messenger markings are thin swirls of a very light green that start at her eye, run down her chest and across the middle of her stomach, and end on the inside of her back leg. In the sun they seem to glow almost yellow, illuminating bits of gold in her fur, while other times they are a sickly green shadowed by the forest.
Personality
Personality ::
With her naturally small statue and timid nature, even at first glance it's easy to tell Dawn is rather quiet. Both with others and simply in her every day life as she goes about, this little wolf does not make a lot of noise in general and tends to be rather shy with people she doesn't know. In that sense she has a hard time introducing herself to new wolves alone, and though she does like time by herself when it comes to company she won't mind a few good friends around. Dawn doesn't like loud places, wolves, or things and tends to stay away from anything that doesn't know how to use an inside voice.
To her friends Dawn is always supportive, nurturing, and caring. She is willing to do anything for them always, including sacrifice her own needs,opinions, or preferences to save an argument with the ones she loves. As a little bit of a natural worrier when it comes to her relationships if someone she loves happens to be feeling down, she will go to all ends to try and bring up their day even if it proves ineffective. It mentally kills her when someone she cares about it sad, and can easily bring down her mood.
Timid is a good word for this wolf, with others she is the very definition. Though Vesper gives her the task of resolving bad conflict between wolves and she was trained to do this well, Dawn has a hard time standing up for herself when it is just someone being unfriendly to her. She will almost always back down from a fight or arrangement if she feels intimidated by the opponent. The small wolf gets her strength from her friends and those around her, as standing up for someone else is so much easier, but when caught alone in a bad situation she is just about as passive as a pup.
Dawn is a wolf calm of the mind. In her life at the moment as long as her friends are doing okay, she has very little troubling her. It is easy for her to relax in the sun rocks or stroll through the forest lazing the day away when she has nothing better to do, because she finds no time spent by herself is wasted. The young wolf takes high value in thoughtfulness and open mindedness, she tries to stay to both as much as she can for herself and those who she associates with.

History
History ::
Dawn has a story that she wouldn't share with many, really she doesn't like to think about it any more now that a year of just peace has past from her very unhappy puppy-hood. Born into a relatively normal family she was the runt of a litter of three during a particularly hard winter, but her parents who were both rouges with plans to start a pack of their own made due. With much time spent inside a warm den away from the storm, Dawn developed close relationships with her two brothers and her mother.
The problems started to hit in the spring time when flowers were just starting to bloom and Dawn got a taste of the outside world, their happy family was forced out of the territory by a couple of bigger males looking to make a home for themselves. With the pups a few months old her parents could not risk a fight, so they moved on without commotion. Unfortunately the new territory they found wasn't safe at all. It started with her brother, the strongest out of their litter, being snatched away by a hungry predator after her mother had turned her back for just a few minutes. Her father was next to go, taken down in a cougar fight. That was when everything changed for Dawn, when her mother lost it.
When she was born a messenger of vesper her parents felt they had been praised, but after the death of her father, her mother didn't hold the same opinion. The lone she-wolf became possessive of her two pups and only remaining family, going so far one day as to snap and rip at Dawns leg when she was a year old in hopes the markings would disappear and stay gone. It wasn't long before her brother left and escaped the danger, but Dawn stayed for a year longer and endured more suffering then she could bear recalling.
At the age of two years the pup finally left, bringing herself to the hollow to be trained and receive contact with Vesper. She was lucky enough to communicate with the god on several occasions, this alone was enough to calm her spirit from what she had endured and continue on carrying the work she had been assigned at birth by a handful of green swirl markings. For some time now she has been simply traveling from place to place, contempt meeting friends and with no plan to settle down anywhere.
