Nakera
"A place for messengers, eh?" Nakeras eyes glowed in the dim light of the cave entrance. The crystals were much farther down, but the faintest glow could be seen. "We'll see about that." She growled, and walked into the cave.
All this fighting between the gods. It was madness! "There supposed to be keeping things in order here, Not rambling on about each other. Wears a stinking messenger when you need one?" Her eyes flashed with annoyance. "I want answers, and i want answers now!"
She wondered on, deeper into the cave. In truth, she didn't really want to meet a messenger. But she was awfully lonely, although the proud wolf would never admit to it. Any wolf to talk about the gods to would be nice, but the only wolves who ever spoke to her were messenger wolves. She shook her head. "I don't need anyone, i just need some answers..." That's right, keep lieing to yourself...\she sighed as she wondered deeper into the cave.

Asher made his way into crystal cave, seeking some peace and quiet away from his pack. The Guardians were a peaceful group of wolves, but like many others any conversation seemed to end up being about one subject, the feud between Corrin and Vesper. He quickly grew tired of it, and now he simply wanted a bit of time to himself.
Asher had been to Crystal Cave before. Somehow he felt more connected to Tempest here, so he always enjoyed the trip, not to mention that the gems hidden away in the cave were quite beautiful. It was possible for almost any wolf to find peace here. It had also become quite popular in the past few months for wolves to take shelter from the storms that the gods stirred up.
As he made his way toward the back of the cave, Asher began seeing the brightly colored gems within the walls. He closed his eyes and walked forward, taking a moment to say, "I don't know if you can hear me now, Tempest. You've probably got your hands full with those foolish gods." Asher opened his eyes again and gave a sigh, "But I trust you're doing all you can."
Continuing through the cave, and enjoying the cool air the farther he went, Asher paused when he noticed a figure in the distance. In the dim cave it was a bit hard to make out, but it was no doubt a wolf, female by the looks of it. Asher quietly continued forward before softly calling out, "Hello, miss." He hoped he hadn't startled her.

Nakera
Stupid messenger wolves...Wear were they when they could be useful? Probably trying to break up a good fight, or contacting the foolish gods... She let her mind wonder to all the possibilities, before she herd the voice.
Jumping back, her ears lay flat against her head. Of course, a messenger wolf. "Hi." Her words were almost a snarl. What was his god? Tempting...Tempter...something like that... her fur felt cool in the cave, but not a plesent cool. A bone Chilling coolness she always got around messenger wolves. Why was it, that only messenger wolves talked to her?
"Your a messenger wolf." She said, stating the obvious. What else was there to say? She planned to confront him, to demand an answer to why the gods were so foolish. But all in good time, all in good time. He was a messenger wolf, right? He would know...He might not. The little voice inside her head wisperd, the one she always ignored.

Asher sorry the wolf jump back, then apologized. "Sorry miss, didn't mean to scare you." She certainly didn't seem happy to see him, perhaps she came to the caves for some peace and quiet, like he had. Besides, this dim cave wasn't a pleasant place to be startled, it was easy to get lost in your own little world.
When the stranger stated he was a messenger, Asher nodded. "Well yes, I am. Not anything wrong with that, is there?" He suspected there was, lately there had been some hatred toward messengers thanks to Corrin and Vesper. Though he was only a messenger to Tempest, he still had a connection to the gods. But how that meant that Asher was somehow responsible for the fights, he had no idea. Some wolves just needed someone to blame, perhaps.
But Asher told himself not to jump to conclusions. Perhaps this stranger had her own reasons to sound so bitter to him. There were in fact many reasons for messengers to be hated, he'd even been called a puppet of the gods by some red-eyed wolf in Sunrock Clearing. Part of him was curious as to what this stranger had to say.

Nakera
Yes, yes there is something wrong with that, that and the fact that the gods are supposed to be keeping things in order here but instead there arguing with each other. It was so simple, to feel hatred for everyone now. "No, nothing wrong with that." She smiled, a hollow smile. "Forgive me, i am blind. I only reconise you by your aura. I'm just comferming the fact."
Blind. The word made her heart sink, it just reminded her of this awful world. To take vision from a wolf, to leave her in a world of darkness... Ok, enough negative thinking for now. Head up. No Tears! She held the unexpected tear back, of unknown origin. Probably because of the darkness thing. Gods, Life sucked...
She went over her options, very quickly. Charm? No, charm didn't work for a wolf like her. Besides, she wanst the charming type. Aggression? Maybe. For now, a 'nice' act will do. "I'm Nakera." her smile was a bit fuller now. Normally, she didn't give messenger wolves a chance to be her friend, or even ally. This wolf was no exception, but she needed answers if she was going to sleep tonight.

Asher nodded, but he knew her smile didn't look sincere. "I see. Well then, I'm a messenger of Tempest." He assumed she knew who that was, but he figured if she was interested in knowing more she would simply ask. Asher had never met a blind wolf before, but he did notice that this one seemed very well adapted to her condition. Still, he felt a bit of pity for her, thinking about the beautiful gems in the cave that she couldn't see.
Which made Asher curious as to why the wolf came here. He gave a shrug, guessing that you don't really need eyes to enjoy the quiet cave. Still, if you went far back enough the colorful gems were really an amazing sight. Asher made the trip at least once every few months, just to get lost in his own little world for a while. Sometimes it was also to talk to his god, even if Tempest rarely talked to him, especially nowadays.
"Pleased to meet you. My name is Asher." He gave her a smile, although he realized she wouldn't see it. "If you don't mind me asking, what brings you here? Looking for some peace and quiet like me?"

Nakera
Temptest! That was it! She had adapted to sensing the different auras of messenger wolves, although fo some reason Nova and Corrin always got mixed up... Temptest. Well, not exactly the messenger wolf she was looking for, but he would do. For now.
"Something like that. Actually, i was hoping to run into a messenger wolf such as yourself." Now choose your words carefully here, Nakera. Taking a seat, she closed her eyes. Most wolves would think it wouldn't make a difference for a blind wolf, but to her it did. She could sense the tension in the air, between the gods and the wolves.
"As im sure your aware, Vesper and Corrin haven't been exactly agreeing lately, more so than usual. This affects many wolves, partiquarally me. You see, every time i close my eyes, i feel the tension. I haven't slept in three days, and am not at my best. Im just...Curious as to why there fighting more often now."

"Is that so?" Asher asked when Nakera said she was searching for a messenger. He took a seat as she did, figuring that they were in for a long conversation. He didn't really mind, as long as they didn't talk about the fighting going on between the gods, he was going to enjoy the conversation in the peaceful place.
But, they were going to talk about the gods. Asher gave a weary sigh as she asked her question and explained her situation, but something seemed odd to him. Asher continued to listen, and one Nakera was done speaking he gave a nod. He was quiet for just a moment, perhaps thinking of how to word it. Finally, Asher took to Nakera again.
"Vesper is.. upset at Corrin." Asher began, "She was the one who separated the wolves using their eye color, what was it.. two hundred years ago I believe? Well, Vesper is the god of unity, and he wasn't too happy about it." Asher gave a shrug, then another sigh. "But why they are fighting about it now, I have no idea. Perhaps they always have been, and the fights have been growing bigger. Now the messengers, especially those of Corrin and Vesper, feel their anger every day."
Asher then looked to Nakera with a curious gaze. "It's strange, though, that you can feel the tension. Normally only messenger wolves can feel it."

Nakera
Nakera listened quietly to the first part. Yes, this much she had known. With only messenger wolves speaking to you, this had its advantages. She knew much about the gods, although she was surprised when he told her he didn't know the reason behind the more recent fights. Weren't messenger wolves supposed to know about these things? Maybe it was only certain messenger wolves. Corrins and Vespers, for instance.
"Yes, well it only happened a few months after...My accident. I want born blind you see, but i was blinded at a young age. After i learned to listen, to feel the world around me, I could start to feel other things other wolves didn't. At first, i thought i was going insane. But soon i learned it was the gods i was feeling. Not nearly as strong as a messenger wolf, but strong enough in a time like this to feel that something isn't right." Looking back to her younger years, they were blurry like her eye in the first few days. Only one memory, that she held dear and dare not let go. The memory of her father, playing with her in cool puddles after a storm had settled. The good days, when all was at peace...

Asher nodded as he listened to her story, still finding it interesting that she could feel the tension from the gods. Once Nakera was finished speaking, he thought for just a short moment. "It is quite amazing that you have learned to feel them.. normally only messenger wolves can sense such.. 'subtle' changes." In the past few months, however, it had not been so subtle. At times Asher knew he could feel Tempest's frustration.
He continued to think about what Nakera had said, then spoke again. "I do feel pity for messengers of Corrin and Vesper... being dragged into a fight they don't want to be a part of. There's not much love for any messengers nowadays, but they likely get it the worst. Not to mention the bond those two gods have with their messengers.. it's easy for them to feel the anger their god feels." Asher gave a sigh, and shifted his weight a bit before he continued. "But for me, I don't have such a strong bond with Tempest as some other gods have with their messengers. It's simply the way he is."
Asher gave a wolf like shrug, then quietly glanced at their surroundings. "Sometimes I come here for some peace and quiet, my pack is a nice group of wolves but the tension between the gods has stirred things up a bit." Being a messenger, wolves sometimes looked to him for answers as to why the gods were causing trouble. He sometimes became tired of it, so he only wanted a quiet place to think once in a while, and this cave always made him feel more connected to Tempest somehow. "I suspect I also came here for another reason."

Nakera
Nakera nodded. It had always been quite a misery, her connection with the gods whom she disliked so much. When she lost her sight, her other scenes became more alert, and it seemed it opened her up to a new sense.
It was curious, really, how some gods had a strong bond with there messengers, well others didn't. Some felt they were unneeded, it seemed. She suddenly pelt a ping of pity, for this wolf. Well other messengers were bonded strongly, he was not so fortunate with his god. She silently wondered if it was any different than being a normal wolf. She listened to Asher talk, thinking about every word. he was quite the conversation partner. Maby this wolf isnt so bad.
Nakera chuckled a bit. "I suppose i am disturbing your peace, i apologize. I usually come here for peace to, however it is though to be at peace when the gods themselves are not. " She could only imagined what the poor messenger wolves were going threw, it almost made her hate them less. Almost. She listend to Asher speak, once more. "To be closer to Temptest, right? I suspect that is why messenger wolves come here, to be close to there gods."
She looked around, her glazed eyes shined a bit. "You know, sometimes i think i can see the shine of the gems. Ive herd it is quite beautiful, so i try. But i know it is only my imagination." Deep in thought, she continued. "Such a horrid thing, for a wolf to loose her sight. So many awful things happen in this world, its hard to believe that there even are gods. A god should be someone to look up to, That you should be able to thank. However, i find myself looking down most times. There is little in this world to be thankful for, especially at times like these." she paused for a moment, a ping of realization hit he like a Smack in the face. To Deep! Wayyyyy To Deep! She was shocked, that all this would come out to a messenger wolf, let alone a messenger wolf she just met. "Sorry," She apologized. "It seems my mouth has run away with me.."

The dark grey wolf sighed as she sat at the entrance to the cave, the bright purple markings on her body seemed to pulse as if they where urging her to quickly enter the cave. She closed her dark blue eyes and took in a deep breath, her muscles tensed as she felt the tension in the air from the gods. She knew the fighting between Corrin and Vesper had gotten worse, she could feel it. The way the the earth echoed with silence and her heart beat against her chest as she felt the hatred between the two gods grow every second. She let out the breath of air she had forgotten she was holding as she opened her eyes and looked up, watching the clouds roll around as if they where chasing each other.
"Why?" she whispered quietly, unsure where the question had came from and confused as to who it was directed to. She shook her head as if trying to wash away all the thoughts that constantly ran through her brain like a broken record. December let out a soft whimper as she layed down on the ground in front of the cave and covered her eyes. She wasn't sure why she had come to the cave, to be honest with herself she wasn't sure about anything anymore. She had never been very close to the gods, but she could tell things where bad and getting worse.
Finally she picked herself up and shook out her long dark grey fur before slowly heading into the cave, her eyes dark blue eyes flickering around the dark area insecurely. She longed to find out what was happening and why the gods where suddenly so hateful towards each other though she didn't dare try and ask her god. She already knew she wouldn't get a response so she figured, why try?
Her bright purple markings glowed in the darkness like the luminescent moss that covered the walls in most dark caves. Her body seemed to disappear in the shadows along with her deep blue-grey eyes.

Nakera
Nakera flicked her ears to the entrance of the cave. Footsteps? she turned her head to the side, cocking it slightly so her ears could get the full sound. Yes, definitely footsteps. Light ones, by the sound of it. Wait... a whimper? was this wolf in pain?
Nakera got up, looking at Asher. "I don't think were lone anymore." she said softly. Great, another wolf. Just what she needed to cover up what she just said. Hopefully, the messenger wolf would forget or not bring it up.

"No, you are not disturbing my peace. Not really, anyway. Though I must admit, I did come here to escape all this talk about the gods." When Nakera guessed his reason as to why he was here, Asher gave a nod. "That is correct, I always feel closer to Tempest here. Sometimes I feel I would just like to hear his voice, but that hasn't happened in years. For now I can only talk and hope that he is listening."
But considering Tempest was most likely busy with Corrin and Vesper, it didn't come as a shock to Asher that Tempest hadn't spoken to him lately. He was never one to interact often with his messengers, anyway. Not like other gods, who spoke with them frequently and formed a bond. But Tempest was not the only god who rarely spoke with his messengers, there were others.
Asher continued to listen as Nakera spoke, and once again felt pity for her. A wolf to lose her sight was a terrible thing indeed, Asher himself couldn't imagine losing such a thing. When the wolf seemed to question if the gods even existed, he gave a sigh. She certainly wasn't the only one to wonder if the gods were aware of their struggles. Just as he was about to speak, Asher's ears twitched to a sound somewhere else in the cave. It seemed that Nakera heard it as well, and Asher gave a nod. "I hear it too."

Nakera
Nakera lifted her muzzle to the sky once more, and turned her ears again. than, very swiftly, her ears went back flat and she crouched slightly. taking a step, she stopped to listen before taking another step. Her ears pricked every so often when another sound was made.
It was a curious thing to see really, nakera acting like this. Chances were, no wolf knew what she was doing. It was extreemly hard to do for a normal wolf, but practice and concintration helped. Pinpointing her foe was a key trick to surviving.
she came within site of the wolf, and only once she was sure she had pinpointed her location, did she speak. "Hello there." her head faced the wolf, only slightly off and her eyes did not focus at all.
